Barefoot Resort Fazio is one of the most desired Myrtle Beach Golf courses and is alway ranked in the top ten on any Myrtle Beach golf vacation list. The Fazio course at Barefoot Resort runs throughout the Barefoot Resort complex which is adjacent to Myrtle Beach's Barefoot Landing resort complex. This classsic Lowcountry golf course, filled with live oaks, pines, sand, natural areas and native grasses does not return to the club house after nine holes, but continues throughout Barefoot Resort. The Barefoot Fazio course is strategically located between the Dye Course and the Love Course at Barefoot Resort. Fazio himself incorporated extensive tree cover and placed the Barefoot course along the many Barefoot Resort lakes which enhances the playing experience and adds value to the beauty of the Barefoot Resort landscaping.

Barefoot Fazio waste areas and formal bunkers were handcrafted and placed for visual beauty as well as strategic effect. Over 15 Barefoot Resort Fazio holes feature water, yet many lakes are in out-of-play areas to ensure playability.

Fazio resort tee and fairways consist of GN-1, which is a hybrid turf developed by Greg Norman Turf. The Barefoot Resort Fazio approach areas consist of Tif - sport Bermuda grass. Each Fazio green surface is an A-1 Bentgrass and the rough areas are 419 Bermuda grass.
